Hosting secondments at UOULU

UOULU is happy to host two ROVER secondments at the same time. Prof. Paul O'Brien from ELAROS, UK and Dr. Gianluigi Tiber from Umbria Bioengineering Technologies Srl, Italy are with us now. We are looking forward interesting discussions and evaluation for further collaboration.

At the same time Sep 4, 2024, we are also hosted one day ETSI SmartBAN meeting, where also other delegates from ROVER project were attending, without secondment to UOULU. ETSI SmartBAN is developing European standard for smart body area networks and its topic is deeply in the scope of ROVER.

On Thursday, Sep 12, 2024, we were happy to hear two fascinating talks given by our secondees. The title of Prof. Paul O'Brien's talk was "The formation of the Global Digital Health Market: ELAROS a Case Study". Dr. Gianluigi Tiberi's talk was about "Ultra Wideband (UWB) medical imaging: theory and applications".
