ROVER Deliverable ROVER view on machine-learning relating to medical ICT, especially to WBAN related data has been accepted. This deliverable focuses on ROVER project’s deliverable D6.2 within work package WP6 Wireless Communications. Wireless communications for body area networks and in particular imaging and remote sensing. In this D6.2, work focused on the use of machine learning (ML) approaches for health-related developments in the physical layer for ROVER systems and their application towards real world implementation. The applications utilizing wireless connectivity are such as localization/positioning, as well as non-ionizing imaging. The studied physical layer solutions in this deliverable are based ultra-wideband platforms due to their non-ionizing advantages and high resolution, as well as their potential for non-wearable sensing techniques.
