ROVER Deliverable D6.1 - ROVER view on wireless body area networks (WBAN) and wireless capsule endoscope (WCE) communications has been accepted. This deliverable focuses on ROVER project’s work package WP6 Wireless Communications.

Wireless communications within a body area network could happen between on-body nodes, in-body nodes and nodes, which are located both in- and on-body. The applications utilizing wireless connectivity are such as wireless body area networks (WBAN), in-body node/gadget connectivity and localization/positioning, as well as non-ionizing imaging. The studied physical layer solutions in ROVER are based either on narrowband, ultra wideband or optical signals.
